I never would have guessed that. Wow.
I'm gonna make these article blogs really boring soooo.. Yeah.
Facts:
- In 1994, ST:TNG had 15-20 million viewers a week. My god, that's a lot.
- In the 1960s, people only watched action-y shows (men) and soap operas (women), until ST:TNG came along, entering it's own mainstream of "nerds".
- Many shows/movies wouldn't exist without the creation of Star Trek.
- I think it's awesome that he X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, etc, wouldn't exist unless Star Trek was created. They fall under the widespread mainstream of nerdiness.
- Again, STAR TREK HAS BEEN OUT FOR 25 YEARS?!
- How come people honestly didn't like sci-fi movies/shows as much as (stupid) soap operas or just action movies? It's weird.
