AVENGERS. ♡

Facts:
  • Joss Whedon never gave up on his ideas. Even when he had a bad streak, he eventually gained a great success.
  • Joss never wanted to do what others did. No tired trends, just something unique.
  • By waiting for his chance, Avengers became the summer's greatest hit, along with his greatest success.
Comments:
  • AVENGERS. OH MY GOD.
  • People like Joss convince me to never give up. Whether it be in my artwork or my life, I won't give up. He has taught me that there's always a drought before the downpour. There's always obstacles before the success.
Questions:
  • What kept him going? What inspired him to never give up himself?

Frankenweenie!

Facts:
  • Tim Burton loved his dog, which strongly inspired his creation of Frankenweenie.
  • Burton made quick, simple sketches of the characters and his team created fabulous puppets with so much detail.
  • Black and white filming brings out details more than with color.
Comments:
  • Black and white filming intrigues me greatly. I find it unique and different and that attracts me to watching this movie even more. Aaaaaaaand, 'cause I love Tim Burton's movies.
  • This movie probably has more meaning to Tim Burton than anyone else. He loves his dog dearly, and as it's portrayed that Victor is Burton in Frankenweenie, he would be heartbroken if his dog died. He would probably try to bring him back as well. :3
Question:
  • What made Tim Burton decide to create the whole movie in black and white? I can understand the detail thing, but that can't be the only reason.

No more Internet..

SO.
I no longer have internet, so I'm gonna have to do these blogs in class..
Hopefully, I can keep my work up too. D:

Too much stress..

We haven't really learned anything this week so, I can't really say what I learned/liked/disliked.

Though, I found out I can't handle stress well.

Oh boy.

Walking Dead Season 3 started yesterday
AND I MISSED IT.
D:
Money sucks.
Jobs suck too.
No time for anything.
>________<

Here's your AMV of the Week! :3
HEY. There's some strong language in most of these and that's because of the songs..
Also possible suggestive themes but I honestly think we're old enough and mature enough to see.

Paranorman!

Paranorman is on my list to watch 'cause I love Coraline.

Facts:
  • It's stop-motion animation!
  • Replacement Face animation is used as well, which is cool 'cause it makes the whole process easier to just make each of the faces the characters would make and simply swap them out when needed.
  • Apparently, it's very rare to have close up scenes/shots in stop-motion animations.
Comments:
  • Considering that stop-motion is a difficult animation style, it also is unique because it allows someone to work hands-on on the artwork, aong with someone wrking behind a computer screen and actually making sure the animations are smooth.
  • The hole idea of Replacement Face animation is incredibly smart. It makes it so much easier for someone to physically animate the characters without having to change their face each time.
Question:
  • Why do people want to use such a difficult animation process? Or is it actually easier tha computer-generated animations?

STAR TREK! ♥

It's been 25 years since Star Trek: The Next Generation came out?! :O
I never would have guessed that. Wow.

I'm gonna make these article blogs really boring soooo.. Yeah.

Facts:
  • In 1994, ST:TNG had 15-20 million viewers a week. My god, that's a lot.
  • In the 1960s, people only watched action-y shows (men) and soap operas (women), until ST:TNG came along, entering it's own mainstream of "nerds".
  • Many shows/movies wouldn't exist without the creation of Star Trek.
Comments:
  • I think it's awesome that he X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, etc, wouldn't exist unless Star Trek was created. They fall under the widespread mainstream of nerdiness.
  • Again, STAR TREK HAS BEEN OUT FOR 25 YEARS?!
Question:
  • How come people honestly didn't like sci-fi movies/shows as much as (stupid) soap operas or just action movies? It's weird.

Week.. I forgot.

SO.
Flash is beginning to like me..
But that's only 'cause I basically forced it to like me. >:D

What did I learn this week?
I learned that blogs are very easy to forget. I almost didn't make it this time! D:
I also learned that the one video with all the stick people... HILARIOUS. :D

My little monsters are turning out beautifully.

I think what frustrated me most this week was trying to get my title screens to do cool things (which is becoming a hassle now) aaaand that I keep forgetting my blogs!

I swear I'm gonna write it everywhere with post-it notes in bright colors.
What made me happy?
 MY GRADE.
Oh!
I found this video that helped me with my 12 Principles project, it would probably help you too!
Here's your AMV of the Week! :3
